Esther C. Andrews

	Esther C. Andrews, 85, of DuQuoin, passed away at 10:39 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2000 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin.
	Esther and her husband Ralph had operated a car dealership in St. Louis from 1956 to 1969.  The had resided at the DuQuoin City Lake for the past 30 years.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in DuQuoin.  She was also a member of the DuQuoin Senior Citizens, DuQuoin VFW Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters of America and Marshall Browning Hospital Auxiliary.
	She was born November 5, 1914 at Du Bois, the daughter of Alex and Anna (Mendell) Bendrick.  She married Ralph R. Andrews on November 26, 1936 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois.
	She is survived by her husband, Ralph of DuQuoin; one sister, Loretta Reidelberger of Du Bois; one brother, Dr. Alexander Bendrick of Chicago Heights; one sister-in-law, Marie Andrews of St. Louis, MO; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
	She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Severen Mikol.
	Funeral services were Saturday, January 15 at 10 a.m. at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois with Fr. Daniel Jurek officiating.
	Friends were able to call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.  The Rosary was said at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
	Interment was in the St. Charles Cemetery at Du Bois.
	Friends may make memorials to the St. Charles Church Renovation Fund or to the National Tuberous Sclerosis Association.
